Final Assessment
For those who already hold a current One Stop Training Solutions card, we offer several hybrid assessment options.
Contact us today to find out if a hybrid assessment option is the best fit for you. These tailored courses are designed to help you meet the requirements specific to your role and work location, in line with the Temporary Traffic Management categories.
All students are required to complete a minimum of 20 logged hours of vocational placement for Traffic Controller (TC).
This involves performing 20 hours of stop/slow bat operations or using a Portable Traffic Control Device (PTCD)
on a live road with a licensed traffic control company. In addition, students must complete three (3) different set-ups
based on Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) relevant to their working conditions
for Traffic Management Implementers (TMI) after completing the course.
All placements must be supervised and are unpaid.
TC1 and TMI1 post-course requirements must be completed within six (6) months of the final day of the formal course.
Post-course TMI set-ups may take between 1 and 2 hours each to complete.
NOTE: During work placement, learners are required to provide their own PPE,
including a two-way handheld radio.
NOTE: Once the vocational placement is completed, TC and TMI assessments must be
conducted by a qualified trainer/assessor to obtain the Statement of Attainment.
Assessment sessions are available monthly and can be booked by contacting the office.
