This training delivers essential knowledge about construction activities, relevant WHS regulations, common on-site hazards, and practical methods to control associated risks. According to WHS legislation, every worker entering a construction site in Australia must complete general induction training known as “White Card training” and present proof of completion before commencing work.
This course is delivered over 1 day, face-to-face.
Upon successful completion, students will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry, along with a White Card containing their photograph.
The course includes both theoretical and practical components, consisting of 2 days of classroom-based learning and 1 day of simulated practical training. Attendance on all days is mandatory.
